As I walked past the dining room window this afternoon, my quick glance at the pond stopped me in my tracks.
The sun was bright, shining intensely on the water's surface; a slight breeze formed tiny waves causing the pond to look like it was full of sparkling diamonds. I watched the glistening water for minutes before moving onto my next task. I was a rich woman - lucky to have so many gems within my possession. On my next pass, the pond was still, dark and the jewels gone.
Easy come, easy go - but I am still the richer for treasuring the beautiful view!
